I think if Tiger is going to win another major it will be at The Open, maybe 3 of them...Tom Watson should have won it at the age of 59, if he would have got up and down at the 72nd hole he would have 6 Open championships!

This will probably be more remembered for Rocca's miracle putt on the 72nd.

This man as they say. Plays his game longer the next fellow. May I add , I note at victory he was happy and composed not emotional and disoriented- watch the greatest of this game in those moments and there are few tears but the resolve to make it a common occurrence to be in contention and win often!!!!!

This was an incredibly compelling day of golf. Harrington was clearly in the zone (except for the 18th in regulation), but it is hard to believe Garcia didn’t win this tournament. While Garcia was a little leaky, he burned so many edges while putting. He just needed one of those to drop and he would have won it. As it was, he had ten years more to wait for his first major championship.

He won the same way Phil Mickelson and Bryson lost, he kept it in the fairway and played it safe while Phil and Bryson mowed the 3' grass all week.

Ernie has the greatest classic swing in the history of golf. I’ve tried to model my own swing, tempo positions etc after this great swing. I’m no where close to his beautiful swing, but the journey has been so fun and rewarding. I even had one person say to me “your swing looks like Els! Okay just once but just to hear that was a highlight of my golfing experience! I think what’s even more important than Ernie’s skill with the golf club, is that he’s a gentleman, father and ambassador for both golf and Autism. He’s down to earth and is a role model both on and off the course! Congratulations Ernie Els on a great career and life!

Very similar major results with Sam Snead. Both won 3 Masters. Snead won 3 PGAs, Phil 2. Each won a British Open. Snead was runner-up at US Open 4x, Phil 6x.

Unmatched history, true classic courses, I loved waking up to live Open Championship Golf fallowed by DVR repeats all day! That’s how I enjoyed The Open from Southern California! My favorite Major, The Master is right there too! My wish is Collin allows us weekend golfers to gaze upon The Claret Jug!

It was the best thing that ever happened to golf in recent history. Barring the 'broomstick' putter. Not because it gave any pro an advantage, but because it stopped making them look like utter dickheads.

His best commentary was at the 1987 Masters after the monster chip-in by Larry Mize. While American counterparts were whooping and ranting - Peter summed it up perfectly in one line... "Well they say that the meek will inherit the earth" Pure brilliance.

Was one of the British Opens. Lull in the play and the cameraman focused on one of the walkways across the fairway. There appeared to be a few Japanese nationals crossing with their cameras around their necks. " Amazing what you see when you haven't got a catapult handy." Rip Mr Allis.
